Answer: "Which telco provider offers the best package for the iPhone 5S?"

iPhone5S is finally out in Malaysia!!! We've gone through the numbers once again and divided the research into 2 sections, the most expensive plan and also the most affordable plan.

Also, for the sake of simplicity, we have only covered the 16GB model. We also took plans for 24 months only, thus, plans like the iValue Simple from Maxis (which only comes in a 12-month option) has been omitted so that it would be easier to compare between the telco providers.

Let's take a look at the priciest plans from each telco provider.

* - Based on calculation of RM0.10/min for calls and SMS. Figure shown is not a given bundled amount.
** - Only for calls/SMS within the same network provider. (Etc: Maxis to Maxis)

And for those who want minimum commitment.

* - Based on calculation of RM0.15/min for calls and SMS. Figure shown is not a given bundled amount
** - Only for calls/SMS within the same network provider. (Etc: Maxis to Maxis)

HTML 5 is a markup language used for structuring and presenting content for the World Wide Web and a core technology of the Internet. To summarize it in layman's term, HTML 5 is the future for web browsing, be it on your smartphone, PC, laptop or even TV.

You can test how well your browser supports the upcoming HTML 5 standard by simply visiting the website

“Which telco provider has the cheapest postpaid broadband?”

Yay! Our website’s first ever question. Granted, it’s from a friend of ours, but still… a question is a question.

So here goes. Check out the comparison table we came up with:

*8am-2am – 1.5GB quota
2am-8am – 1.5GB quota
** 2am – 7pm

Some things to note:
1) We looked at plans WITH modems only
2) Some telcos had some cheaper plans, but these were offered only to existing customers
3)  Internet speed for each plan was based off of respective modem’s fastest speed. Real speed is dependent on coverage, congestion and also the telco’s network capabilities.
